Current FAWWA Projects

FAWWA is more than a literary organisation. We are publishers, historians, restorers, possum landlords, and custodians of WA's rich and unique heritage. As well as our ongoing workshops and calendar of events, we always have a project or three on the boil!

This year, In 2011 the FAWWA will continue a lively program of writing workshops, Meet the Author afternoons and ongoing writing groups.

A major focus for the committee will be finance – how to source funding beyond that offered by the government, to underwrite workshop programs and the completion of the Mattie Furphy House restoration.

Another focus will be on moving with the times and providing for the needs of young writers in this digital world.
